SpiderWEB 7 is an Internet browser carrying basic features that allow users to surf the Web just like any other browsers.
Being an indie program development with very few production qualities in mind, users should be wary of the fact that SpiderWEB 7 is a bit rough around the edges. SpiderWEB 7 is an archaic web browser that's based on the old Internet Explorer 9 because it lacks support for tabs and is characterized by the inability to set the default download location, and check out a webpage resource and code via HTML5.
However, while limited by the old code, the SpiderWEB 7 developers tried to improve on the basic design of Microsoft's default browser and bring multitasking in a unique form. The tool uses multi-webpage windows inside the main application's GUI.
Although this is an unorthodox way of developing multitasking features inside the same running app, it quickly ends up cluttering your screen with many smaller windows turning, in the end, terribly ineffective.
Another feature is the integrated media player placed on the browser's lower right panel, which works on Microsoft's own Windows Media Player and can play music and even movies straight from the browser, without needing any extra third-party apps.
There isn't much you can change about the SpiderWEB 7. You can't alter the color theme of the browser, nor where downloads can be placed, and obviously there aren't any extensions you can install. SpiderWEB 7 often crashes when loading Flash-based applications, but it works fine displaying HTML-based websites.
However, you have direct access to your cookies database which you can delete from your temporary folder. The RSS Feed can be easily managed from a tab near the media player panel.
Spider WEB 7 is an archaic indie project that's based on Internet Explorer's source code. It lacks many modern features and tries to fix the multitasking problem by tweaking the IE code to its limits. It's clear that the project has its virtues, but it's far from being a mature browser and simply cannot compare to modern day's complex browsers like Chrome and Firefox.
