Stay Unlocked! is a lightweight application you can use to control how your computer gets locked after entering idle state. It doesn't integrate complicated options or customization settings, making it accessible to all types of users, even the ones with little or no experience in such software.

The program's not wrapped in a setup kit. Instead, you can copy the downloaded files to a preferred directory on the disk or to a USB flash drive to directly run it on any machine with minimal effort.

It doesn't add new entries to the system registry or create files on the disk without your permission. However, you must have .NET Framework installed, since it was developed with the aid of this platform.

When it comes to the interface, Stay Unlocked! adopts a small window with a plain and simple structure, showing all settings put at your disposal. It creates an icon in the system tray at startup. This way, it becomes non-intrusive and lets you carry on with your normal PC activity,without any interruptions while facilitating quick access to its configuration panel.

You can select between three options: specify the number of minutes after the PC goes idle to take into account when allowing locking or locking the computer, or stay unlocked forever.

It's not necessary to confirm the action, since the settings are immediately applied. The application can be asked to start minimized on logon. There are no other notable options provided by this piece of kit.

As we expected, it didn't put a strain on the computer's performance, thanks to the fact that it needed a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly. It worked smoothly in our tests, without causing the operating system to hang, crash or indicate errors.
