Steam Scanner is a handy tool for gamers who want to keep all their games in one place. Even though there are lots of other digital distribution platforms out there, Steam still holds the crown. If you have most of your games on Steam, it makes sense to add other titles from different platforms into your library.

What Does Steam Scanner Do?

This open-source application runs quietly in your system tray. It scans for games from various platforms and lets you add them to your Steam library with just a few clicks! Pretty cool, right?

How It Works

You might know that you can add games to Steam without any extra software, but Steam Scanner makes it way easier. It automatically finds any compatible games and notifies you when one pops up.

Adding Games Made Simple

If you want to add a specific game, all you need to do is browse to its executable file. Once you select it, voilà! The game gets added to your library and will show up after restarting Steam.

Current Compatibility

Right now, Steam Scanner works with Origin and Uplay. Support for Battle.net is on the way, and the developer also plans to include GOG Galaxy, Microsoft Store, and even Twitch's desktop app soon!

Bugs & Fixes Needed

The program worked pretty well during our tests, but like any software, it isn’t perfect. Sometimes it may struggle to recognize certain games or could add titles more than once.
