SUPERPOSITION Benchmark

SUPERPOSITION Benchmark is a performance and stability testing application for the GPU, the power supply, and the cooling system. Powered by the advanced rendering technologies of the Unigine Engine, this application can display images of high-detail that put your GPU to a stress test.

Before starting a new GPU benchmark tests, you must configure the configuration preset to use, depending on how much of a challenge you want the test to be for your GPU.

There are a few parameters each preset has, but you can modify those only if you opt for a custom preset. The graphics API supports DirectX and OpenGL, and the resolution can also be configured. Shaders and textures, the depth of the field, and the motion blur are all customizable fields.

Provided your computer is equipped with a VR headset, be it Oculus Rift or HTC Vive, you can also check whether the GPU is VR-ready. SUPERPOSITION Benchmark runs a test that enables you to make sure that your computer can handle VR content.

Aside from simple bench tests, one of the most important properties of SUPERPOSITION Benchmark is related to interactivity. Not only that it can evaluate the health of your GPU, but it also enables you to play mini-games in a room that illustrates a detailed 3D environment. In other words, you can freely explore that room and interact with objects of various types by playing puzzle games.

Provided you have not run the test using custom parameters, there is a possibility to submit them to the Global leaderboards, where you can compare your results with that of other PCs having the same configuration.
