Surf It!

Surf It! is a user-friendly application that comes packed not only with a simple web browser but also with a notepad, calendar, and option to send anonymous emails. It can also sync the built-in clock via Internet, user timed shutdown, bookmark and gets rid of almost all popups, temporary internet files, cookies and URL history.

Despite its outdated layout, the tool comes with a multitude of options that are well organized in a quick toolbar and distinct menus. The address bar is on the left side of the panel while the toolbar is displayed for everyone to see on the right. At the bottom, you can quickly access the FTP server settings, new file and window functions.

Surf It! supports multiple opened tabs at the same time, which facilitates the browsing sessions, and import favorites file from any other browser. Pages and videos are loaded at a good speed, and most of the ads are removed to provide a smoother surf.

The navigational buttons let you switch between sites, stop and refresh them at any given time, and access the two homepages that can be set to another URL from the menu. Plus, from the quick bar you can add a site to the bookmark folder and show the directory.

The notebook gives you the choice of writing basic notations since there are no options to customize the text further with fonts, colors, or other formatting elements. However, you can launch the advanced pad that lets you insert the date and time and save it to the disk. The calendar may be used only to visualize and browse between days and months.

Another useful function is the ability yo send anonymous messages for which you need to fill in the POP server, sender and receiver email address, title and the text body. You can attach various files and voice mails. Other worth mentioning features are different search engines (Bing, Yahoo, Google, Facebook, Netscape) secure privacy using password-protection, and run at Windows startup.

Taking everything into account, Surf It! is a useful and fun application designed to offer a simple yet efficient method of surfing the Internet in multi-tabbed mode, using privacy protection, and other handy tools (e.g. notepad, calendar, email provider).
