SWEAT is a simple-to-use software application capable of performing several advanced options when it comes to manipulating strings of characters. For example, it can remove tabs, new line characters, duplicates or multiple spacing, as well as sort all items in alphabetical order. This type of utility comes in handy to any users who want to organize their documents.

The installation operation is fast and needs minimal user intervention. Its interface is represented by a large frame with a plain look, which is split into two panes, one for inputting the source text and viewing results, and another for tinkering with the app's configuration. Unfortunately, SWEAT doesn't implement an option for loading content from file as the source.

It can either leave the case as is or convert it to uppercase or lowercase, remove new line characters, tabs and special characters (e.g. punctuation), as well as get rid of all numbers, single characters, duplicates, multiple spacing, and any words that you indicate in a list.

It can show only words repeated once or more (up to 100 times), sort all items alphabetically, wrap each word in a custom string of characters, as well as delimit each word with a custom string of characters.

SWEAT is capable of executing multiple kinds of operations at once, so feel free to select two or more settings from this list. After returning to the first pane, you can simply click a button to generate the new text with changes. If you're satisfied with the results, you can copy everything to the Clipboard and paste data in an external app. Otherwise, you can return to the settings panel to make further adjustments.

An important aspect worth noting is the fact that the source text is not replaced with the output text after generating it. If you want to tinker with the already modified text, you have to manually overwrite the source with the output. Too bad that SWEAT doesn't implement options for exporting text to file.

We haven't come across any stability issues in our tests, thanks to the fact that the program didn't freeze, crash or prompt error dialogs. It left a small footprint on system resources, running on low CPU and RAM. Tasks were carried out instantly.

To sum it up, SWEAT comes bundled with a lot of handy tools for easily manipulating strings of characters. However, it lacks some essential options. We must also keep in mind that it hasn't been updated for a long time.
