Swift Note is a super handy tool for macOS that helps you keep your notes organized without taking up too much space on your desktop. Unlike the native Stickies app, which can clutter your screen, Swift Note fits right into your Notifications Center panel. This means your notes are close by but out of sight until you need them.
When you first get started, the Swift Note Settings panel makes it easy. Just open your Notification Center, click on the Today tab, hit the Edit button at the bottom, and then press “Add” next to the Swift Note widget. It’s as simple as that! Your widget will pop right into place.
Once it's added, you can start writing as many notes as you want! But keep in mind each note has a fixed size—there's no scrolling option. So, while it’s great for quick reminders or thoughts, there’s a limit to how much you can write in one note.
You won’t be able to change text size or style, but you can switch up the background color of your notes from six preset colors. If color isn’t your thing or if you want even more space on your screen, you can turn off this option in the Settings window.
If you're not using a note anymore, deleting it is just a click away! And if you're looking for an even cleaner look while editing, you can hide the “Add” button whenever you're not working with the widget.
Swift Note really shines when it comes to keeping various sticky notes available without hogging disk space. It's perfectly integrated within your Notifications Center panel and allows for easy access with just a click of your mouse. If you're interested in trying out Swift Note, you'll find it's an awesome way to manage quick reminders!
