TamoGraph Site Survey is a handy tool for anyone who wants to check out their Wi-Fi networks at home. More and more folks rely on wireless connections for their smartphones, laptops, tablets, and desktop computers. But sometimes, the signal can be weak or even drop. That's where TamoGraph comes in! It helps you analyze and evaluate the state of your 802.11 Wi-Fi networks.
First things first! Make sure TamoGraph has detected the right wireless adapter you’re using. If it doesn’t find a compatible one, you might need to download the correct drivers first. Once that’s sorted out, you're ready to dive into your network analysis!
The next step is creating a new project. Here, you can specify what type of building you're in—like if it's an indoor or outdoor space and whether there's high, medium, or low signal loss (attenuation). You’ll also choose your preferred measurement units.
Now it’s time to load a map of your building! You can either use a detailed map that you already have or find one online. Just make sure it’s accurate and up-to-date because this will help ensure that your analysis is spot on!
The main window of TamoGraph lets you calibrate your map before starting either a passive or active survey to see which areas in your building are experiencing poor Wi-Fi signals.
You can select how you'd like to visualize the data from your surveys—whether for passive ones like signal levels, AP coverage areas, signal-to-noise ratios, number of APs (Access Points), and channel bandwidth; or for active surveys like actual PHY rate, TCP upstream or downstream rates, round-trip times, or associated APs.
TamoGraph Site Survey is a great solution if you're looking to improve your wireless network. It identifies weak spots and produces clear reports so you can optimize everything effectively. For more details or to download, check out SoftPas!
