Task Tracker

Task Tracker is a basic yet practical piece of software that was designed with one purpose in mind: that of helping you keep important events, meetings or work-related matters in sight, as well as their deadlines.

The application does not need to be installed on the computer you working on for it to function properly, so you can just extract the downloaded archive and start enjoying it.

At the same time, this means you can easily take Task Tracker with you wherever you go on a portable memory device, and use it at home, at the office or on any other compatible PC, keeping all previously added entries close by.

The program is quite simple and straightforward, both in what concerns its functionality and its appearance, making it quite accessible for anyone, no matter the experience.

The main window of Task Tracker lists prior events or meetings, also letting you add new ones with just a few quick keystrokes, even being able to select a date functioning as a deadline.

When inputting a new entry, you are simply required to type in a name or description, whichever you feel will best serve to remind you of your work. Optionally, you can pick a due date from the built-in calendar, then press on the ‘Add’ button.

However, the entries cannot be deleted from Task Tracker, for this you need to modify the TXT file in its storage folder. You cannot define a specific time (hour, minute) for your task and no alarm, warning or notice is displayed on the expiry date of the events, so it will only be useful as long as you keep it on your desktop at all times.

Task Tracker proves to be a handy yet extremely minimalistic utility that can assist you in keeping important chores or appointments in sight, in order to reduce the likelihood of forgetting to do them or going over the deadline.
