The better you organize, and handle your tasks, the more free time is usually left at the end of the day for you to enjoy. This can be done in a number of ways, depending on what needs to be achieved. A simple method is to use desktop notes like TCCNotes to store your ideas, and always have daily goals in plain sight.
After a quick, and effortless setup process, you’re free to run the application to see what it’s all about. There’s a default note which is brought on the desktop so you can get an idea of the visual set. The application also adds a new tray icon from which the settings menu can be brought up, as well as the note manager.
The desktop note isn’t fitted with a classic window frame, so it’s stripped of any minimization, or close buttons. In fact, there’s no possibility to clear notes from your desktop unless closing the application. It would have been useful to see a hotkey system, but one can be assigned to the application’s shortcut, is it can instantly be launched if closed to free some desktop space.
Adding text is possible only after double-clicking a note. Content can be directly added from the management panel when creating new notes. Keep in mind that double-clicking a note automatically copies its content to clipboard, so it’s best to enable editing mode, and then copy text from an external source.
There’s also some liberty concerning customization, but not enough. On the one hand, notes can be fitted with different background, header, and border colors, as well as the level of opacity. Unfortunately, text only comes in plain format, with no other fonts to choose from. What’s more, exporting is a feature you benefit from to take notes away.
TCCNotes comes as a straightforward way to write down your ideas in cool, customizable desktop notes. However, customization feels a little shallow overall, especially because of the lack of any text enhancements. With no option to export or import, or minimize existing notes, sharing, and distributing notes becomes a difficult task.
