It takes little time to install the application on your computer, and you’re able to take it for a spin shortly after download. You start off in an empty database, and most of the window space is reserved as a preview area, while most controls are easily accessed through the upper toolbar fitted with intuitive icons.

Unfortunately, the application has little to do with your mobile phone, and can’t be used as a method of extracting all your contacts to create a backup. On the other hand, having the list already saved as a TXT or CSV file makes it easy to inject inside the program, thanks to file support. Export is also possible under these formats.

Adding new entries is done in a new window. Effort required on your behalf is minimum, especially because the application isn’t fitted with any extra fields. The operation is straightforward, only letting you write name, home and mobile phone numbers, as well as any additional comments. No field is mandatory, so you’re free to only add details you know.

Interacting with an item brings up the edit panel to update any existing details. What’s more, you can use column headers to filter data. Sadly, the application doesn’t come with a search tool to locate items in a crowded database. The entire vault can be backed up and restored, but there’s no option to apply password-protection.
