Using your computer on a daily basis for personal and work activities fills it up with different processes that run without you even knowing, with a considerable impact on resources. Uninstalling the corresponding program might not be enough and this is where applications like TinTech Optimo come in handy to clean your computer for more performance.

Some effort was put into visual design. Although pretty compact, the main window cleverly stores all functions and menus, making them easy to identify and accompanied by helpful descriptions. Real time updating details are displayed for used memory and total number of running processes, with tooltips stating the obvious, the less running items the better.

One of the easiest way to get back some juice is to start the booster, which lets the application automatically handle resource distribution and process priorities and hiding the main window so you can focus on your work.

Prefetched memory and menu entries are subject to cleaning, with dedicated buttons to initiate the process. It only takes a little while with a prompt message displayed in the end letting you know whether or not it is successful.

Hitting the “Optimize RAM” frees up some space, with noticeable results in the active monitor displayed in the main window. In order to gain a lot of resources instantly, there's an option to stop all non vital processes. However, make sure you don't have any unsaved data lying around or you risk losing it, since everything else other than system default processes are forcefully terminated.

A few more tools can be found amongst the default features. Accessing them brings up a small window, with options for cleaning the computer, initiating a defragment process, gathering hardware components info, as well as managing power options.

Sadly, there are a few things missing here and there, which would have brought a considerable boost to practicality. For starters, cleaning operations are done fast and without any progress indicators or logs to save. What's more, you have to trigger functions manually because there's no built-in scheduler to automate tasks.

On an ending note, TinTech Optimo is a practical utility with which you can pump just a little more juice into your computer, with noticeable results. Although a little rough around the edges and no method of finding out just what was removed, the application does a good job at cleaning and optimizing memory so you can enjoy a smooth workflow.
