Toolwiz Password Safe is an approachable program that facilitates a password-secured vault for storing important information inside. It features a random key generator, among other options.

After a fast setup operation that shouldn't give you any trouble, you're welcomed by a small panel which asks you to indicate a location and name for creating the DAT database file, and to enter the password used to protect it.

A random password generator is put at your disposal to create a powerful key, which gives you the possibility to specify its complexity regarding the key length (number of characters) and type of characters to include when it comes to uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers, in addition to punctuation symbols, brackets, minus, underline and space. Multiple passwords can be generated if you set a number, and they can be copied to the Clipboard or saved to file.

The main window of Toolwiz Password Safe has a simple design and intuitive layout. New records can be added to the database by establishing a title, group name, user name, password, URL, and notes.

It's possible to create as many records as you want to store in the password-protected database, edit their properties, and remove any entry if you change your mind.

There's also a basic search function put at your disposal, enabling you to look up information across the entire database. You can back up the database, lock the workspace and minimize it to the systray, import an external database file, or export the list with records to a plain text document.

It worked smoothly in our tests and had minimal impact on computer performance. Thanks to its intuitive interface and options, Toolwiz Password Safe should meet the requirements of many users looking to store their important data.
