How TrueIP Works

Easy Access to Features

You can access all of TrueIP's functions by right-clicking on its icon in the system tray. It gives you the option for either Quick or Full Information modes. In Quick mode, you can see your current IP address right away, while Full mode dives deeper with detailed info about both your internal and external IP addresses, plus your hostname.

Refreshing and Copying Made Simple

If you're in Full mode, refreshing the information is a breeze with just one click. You can also copy all the details or just what you need directly to your clipboard. This makes it super easy to paste into other programs whenever you want!

Tweaking Options for Convenience

TrueIP comes with several options that let you tweak how it works. You can set it up to run when Windows starts, check the IP address automatically at intervals you choose (in seconds), and even show or copy the external address when double-clicking its icon.

Email Notifications and More

The software also lets you send email notifications, post data to your TrueIP account, upload info via FTP servers, or get popup alerts when your external IP changes. Plus, if you're into logging things, it can save external IP addresses to a spot on your computer that you pick!

A Simple Solution for Monitoring IPs

TrueIP offers a straightforward way to keep tabs on both your internal and external IP addresses while setting up all kinds of notifications. If you're looking for something simpler, there's also a lighter version called TrueIP Basic Edition, which only shows your external IP address.
