TV (Text to Voice)

Computers are no longer only means for entertainment and leisure, as numerous developers have come up with third-party software solution that can turn a computer into an assistance tool for the people with disabilities or health issues. For example, TV (Text to Voice) can read texts out loud for the blind or the visually impaired.

It goes without saying that the application can also be used for educational purposes, for example it can help teachers give dictations to their pupils, while they are completing other tasks.

It can also help foreign users get accustomed to the English pronunciation and improve their own language skills.

In terms of graphic interface, TV (Text to Voice) is developed to be as straightforward as possible, so that both adults and children can make use of its functions. They simply need to type or paste a text, then press the dedicated button so that the app start reading it.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change or customize the reading voice in any way, i.e., users cannot modify the pitch or speed of the voice according to their liking. Also, they cannot pause the reading once it was initiated, they can only set it to start from the beginning.
