Password Managers are becoming more and more popular nowadays, as it is pretty much impossible to remember your credentials for multiple accounts unless you resort to using the same password for each one.

Ulinsoft Password Manager is a fairly simple program that can help you store your credentials securely for easy access. It is not the most advanced application of this type, however, and it needs a few improvements.

As with any other password manager, you will need to provide a master passkey when creating a new database, which will also be required whenever you want to view your credentials.

All your data is stored within a single, encrypted file that can be moved to any location and even transferred to another PC. Of course, you can also use multiple password files.

When adding a new account, you can use the standard “Login” and “Password” fields, as well as add new ones. Templates can even be saved for future use. However, we found the process of adding and viewing accounts to be somewhat slow.

Also, it is worth noting that there is no easy way to copy your credentials to the clipboard for quick data entry. What’s more, the application lacks a search function to help you find what you need.

Lastly, you do not have the option of hiding passwords when adding accounts or viewing them, which is a bit of an issue security-wise.

Ulinsoft Password Manager is an application that could serve as an alternative to more popular password managers if it is improved in certain respects. At the moment, however, it lacks some important features and it is not as intuitive as we would have liked.
