Ultimate Jiggler

To save energy, most computers are configured to enter sleep mode, toggle the screensaver, or log out when the system goes idle, after a period of user inactivity.

However, there might be situations when you need the PC to remain active without having to change the settings you are already used to. Ultimate Jiggler is a software tool just for those circumstances, as it can simulate mouse movements and keyboard presses to make it seem like the computer is used.

Once installed from the Windows Store, Ultimate Jiggler can be launched with a click. Its icon is placed in the system tray area, but there is not a classic interface to open. Instead, you get an application that silently runs in the background, carrying out its task without interrupting your work. Moreover, you can configure it to run with Windows to avoid having to start the application manually.

What Ultimate Jiggler actually does is emulate mouse or keyboard jiggles, or both. You can set the time interval after which the simulation begins. By default, Ultimate Jiggler starts jiggling the mouse after one minute of inactivity. Optionally, Ultimate Jiggler can be configured to also jiggle the keyboard.

Jiggling the mouse or the keyboard means Ultimate Jiggler can simulate mouse clicks or keyboard presses, so as to make applications think that the user is active. Of course, simulating mouse clicks and keyboard presses this way is a satisfactory solution to prevent the PC from entering sleep or other energy-saving mode.

Unlike other applications of this type, Ultimate Jiggler does not allow you to set the number of clicks to simulate or their frequency. However, its lack of additional configuration options does not mean that its job is not well done. On the contrary, its mission is carried out successfully and with low system resources.
