Upon launch, USB Blocker Professional prompts you to create a password. Note that USB Blocker Professional requires you to remember this security key. Otherwise, you might not be able to enter your vault and, ultimately, open USB Blocker Professional.

The Summary tab greets you from the start, revealing all the features of the application in a list. You get to filter the data, as the application only reveals what is relevant to you. USB Blocker Professional reveals a list of authorized and unauthorized USB devices, checks invalid login attempts, and shows you the device log, in general. Invalid password changes and device authorizations are revealed as well.

All the data inside USB Blocker Professional can be exported to various formats, such as PDF, text and CSV. Alternatively, you can print it directly on paper via this application.

USB Blocker Professional automatically blocks the access of all the USB- devices: drives, including external ones, memory cards and so on. While not enabled by default, you can also configure it to block optical discs: CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray. Network drives and non-system drives can also be monitored.

By blocking USB access to the local PC, you can get more control over the data that reaches your computer. Needless to say, this security precautionary measure is designed to help you prevent data loss or theft.

You can use USB Blocker Professional to narrow down the list of external devices that are allowed to connect to your PC. Not only that it prevents USB devices from connecting to the computer, but it also helps you create reports, so that you can check out malicious actions that took place.
