USB Locker is a lightweight Window application whose purpose is to help you protect your USB flash drives, thumb drives, memory cards and external drives against unauthorized viewing by setting up passwords.

The tool does not need to be installed on the target device thanks to its portability status. You can store it on portable media devices and carry it with you. The utility does not write entries in your Windows registry so you can get rid of it with a simple deletion task. It doesn’t require administrative privileges to be opened.

The characters of the password are hidden behind asterisks so other users cannot view them. When the device is protected, you can only view the executable of the application. In case you delete the EXE file, USB Locker displays an empty device.

Only a few configuration settings are hidden under the hood for helping you change the password and prevent brute force attacks by automatically closing the program after three incorrect password attempts.
