USB Stick lock

USB Stick lock offers you a rather convenient and reliable security method for protecting your computer and important data. The program can link the computer’s functionality to the ID of a particular USB drive and allow the access only when the drive is plugged into the PC. Otherwise the system remains blocked.

USB Stick lock is lightweight, straightforward and does not require installation. You can simply run the application and select the USB stick you wish to link the lockdown process to. The next time you unplug the selected drive, the computer is locked and no user can access it.

You can sign out, log off or lock the computer from the Ctrl + Shift + Del menu, but you cannot gain access to the desktop unless you plug in the USB stick. However, the computer is automatically blocked and the contents of the flash drive are instantly displayed in Windows Explorer, as soon as you plug it in the PC.

USB Stick lock allows you to perform certain customization settings. For instance, you can select an image file to be displayed as background for the Computer Lock screen. The program can also be set to automatically run at Windows startup.

USB Stick lock can run in the background to ensure that the security method remains active. However, as long as the program is stored on your PC, the USB lockdown process is active even though the application does not run in the background.

The first time you run USB Stick lock, the process of assigning the USB ID to computer unlocking might take more time to be activated. If the computer lockdown is not instantly activated, you can simply try to start it again. Once the lockdown procedure is established, the Task Manager and Command Line are also blocked.
