Vegetarian Recipes is a cool collection of recipes you can use with the BigOven recipe software. If you're looking to save new recipe boxes to your PC, I've got some simple steps for you!

How to Save Your Recipe Boxes

First things first, you need to make sure that either BigOven or BigOven InspiredCooking Deluxe is installed on your computer. Just a heads up—don’t have it running while you do this!

Finding Your Recipe Folder

You’ll want to locate your “My BigOven Recipes” folder. Usually, it’s found in your “Shared Documents” folder. The full path typically looks like this:

C:DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGSAll UsersDocumentsMy BigOven Recipes

Checking the RBox Subfolder

Now, take a moment to check out the “RBox” subfolder inside your “My BigOven Recipes” folder. Here’s what you should find:

• A folder for each recipe box.


• The actual recipe box file that has a .CRB extension.


• A folder named “Pictures” for all those delicious images.

This setup is super important because it's how all recipe boxes need to be saved for BigOven to recognize and work with them. Make sure everything is at the same level in that directory!
