ViolaNotesFinder is an awesome app that helps you learn how to play chords on the viola. It uses a teaching method that fits your style. This software shows you the musical notes on both the staff and the viola fingerboard, and it even plays the sound of each chord when you select it!

Learning Made Easy

With ViolaNotesFinder, you get two cool ways to learn: Note Finder and Training modes. Both are super effective and easy to use! In Note Finder mode, you can see what the selected chord looks like on the staff and on your viola’s fingerboard.

Selecting Notes

You can choose a note from the staff and watch as the software shows it on the fretboard, or do it in reverse. No matter how you do it, selecting a note lets ViolaNotesFinder play its original sound. Plus, you can pick simple chords or even sharp and flat versions!

Passive vs Interactive Learning

The Note Finder is a chill way to learn since you're just watching and listening. On the other hand, Training mode gives you an interactive experience! The app plays a note while showing it on the fretboard, and all you have to do is name it (like G/Sol) and click a button.

Instant Feedback

You get instant feedback with a bar that shows how many correct answers you've given so far. The Training mode is timed, so you'll need to start that timer before diving in. At the end of your session, ViolaNotesFinder gives you a full report showing which answers were right or wrong.
