Computer viruses can spread incredibly fast, especially where there is an active Internet connection. An antivirus is not capable of providing full protection, but there are ways to enhance it. When archived, files cannot be infected and there are multiple applications that allow this to happen. Visual MPRESS is one of them and with it you can keep EXE and DLL files safe through a complex encryption algorithm.

All the application has to offer is stored in what seems like a polished interface with visually appealing elements. However, if you take a closer look you notice that a little more attention to detail would have been useful and due to this, certain aspects are slightly difficult to detect or figure out.

On the other hand, visuals are not the core feature, included functions providing more than enough variety and options to compress files. The application can be put to good use in either a basic or advanced mode.

If you're looking to get the job done quick, this can be accomplished by simply selecting the desired file, which can be either DLL or EXE and pressing a button, with the result being deployed in the same directory. Triggering the reverse process is done similarly, with the only difference being the button you press.

Experienced user can switch to and advanced mode with considerable more options available. Additional commands can also be included in the compressed file, which you can view in a dedicated tab. Amongst others, you can enhance the newly created file with commands to force use of LZMAT, deny resource compression, to keep unsupported architectures, ignore exceptions and a few more.

All things considered, Visual MPRESS might not be the best of its kind, the overall design and functionality leaving a little something to be desired. However, if using MPRESS proves too difficult, you should know that the application is merely an interface for what the parent programs offers.
