VOVSOFT - Contact Manager

Most of us use our phone’s memory to store contacts, phone numbers and email addresses but there are also applications running on Windows that can do that, such as VOVSOFT - Contact Manager. This is one of the simplest applications, a lightweight software utility that allows you to build a digital address book and store all your contacts in alphabetical order.

There are two editions available, one of which is portable, not requiring installation. No traces are left behind on the host computer when launching the portable edition of VOVSOFT - Contact Manager, which is, obviously, a plus.

Once you run the application, you are welcomed by a simple interface with two separate panels. The left side one holds all the entries in the address book, all in alphabetical order, allowing you to easily jump to the desired letter. There is also a section that stores entries whose names begin not with a letter, but with a number or a symbol.

The right-side panel features a simple form with several editable fields, ready to help you store contact details, such as the first, middle and last names, the address and the organization. Moreover, you can also store up to three phone numbers and up to five email addresses, as well as a website and custom notes for each contact in the address list.

If you don’t want to enter all the contacts in the address book yourself, there is always an option to import them via a VCF file.

VOVSOFT - Contact Manager is a simple but handy tool to have around. It is a straightforward desktop application, and it can surely not replace a cloud-based address book, which can sync contacts automatically on multiple-devices. Even so, if you are looking to get a plain address book app for your Windows PC, it is a good option.
