Vu-Bar was created as a unique, simple, and small piece of software that provides an on-screen, slotted ruler.

Vu-Bar is a tool that can be used by people that suffer from dyslexia. The application allows the user to select the bar width, 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of screen width and set the slot height to the required font size.

The idea behind Vu-Bar is quite simple. Some people find difficulty in following the line they are reading and there are physical rulers available with a slot cut in for just this purpose.

To use Vu-Bar, simply left click and drag the bar to the relevant position. You may also use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move.
