WebPad is a handy text editor that works like your regular Windows Notepad. Honestly, we created WebPad because we were tired of the glitches in the Windows 2000/XP version of Notepad. Plus, just like many folks out there, we often used Notepad for editing web pages. So, why not make a simple and fast alternative that also has some cool HTML editing tools?

A nifty Color Translator lets you switch between hex, RGB, and HTML color codes effortlessly while finding the nearest 'web-safe' color. And don't forget about the Pixel Picker; it's perfect for grabbing colors from your screen!

Easy Previewing Options

You can check how your page looks in real-time with a built-in web preview window using Internet Explorer on your system. It even allows you to view it at various common screen resolutions! There's also a Code Templates feature that lets you create shortcuts for code snippets—just type in a keyword and voilà!

The folder bar keeps all your files and folders easily accessible for quick edits and image previews. Need to download files from the web? WebPad can do that too! You can even save edited files directly to your site by entering your FTP upload info.
