Similar to its predecessors, Windows 11 comes with numerous bloatware that some may want to get rid of due to space and/or privacy issues. Windows 11 Debloater is a script designed to help users debloat Microsoft's newest operating system from unwanted applications that simply take up space.
Before using the script, users need to check whether they have Microsoft’s App Installer on their system. If not, then they need to download it from Microsoft Store, run PowerShell as Administrator and run the following command Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned that allows changing the Execution Policy Change and allow running the script.
The script includes dozens of unwanted apps and bloatware, including Microsoft Edge, Cortana, Windows Security, Feedback Hub, Xbox and related apps, so on and so forth. It is important to note that users can review the list of applications and add or remove programs according to their needs and preferences. To review and make changes to the list, users can use Notepad or they can check it out directly in the console via the winget list command.
At this point, users can run the script and remove all bloatware from their list. Once done, it is recommended to open the Execution Policy Change once more and set it back to its default value.
