This package includes some pretty cool applications that can enhance your experience. Let’s break it down:

NextSTART: Your New Start Menu

NextSTART is a powerful alternative to the regular Windows Start Menu, System Tray, and Taskbar. It’s super customizable too! With lots of themes included and many more available online, you can really make it your own. But it’s not just about looks—NextSTART lets you create menus that can float anywhere on your desktop. You can open them with a mouse click, hotkeys, or even by bumping the edge of the screen with your mouse.

This tool also has file browsing and task management built right in! Plus, it supports drag-and-drop features, making things easier than ever.

WorkShelf: Your Desktop Companion

WorkShelf acts as a skinnable multi-page tabbed desktop replacement and program launcher. You can set it up like a dock anywhere on your screen or expand it almost to full size for quick access to apps, recent documents, managing internet connections, and much more! It comes with fun plug-ins too—like a talking clock and an animated recycle bin that you can keep floating on your desktop!

Font Browser: Preview Fonts Easily

Have you ever needed to check out different fonts quickly? Font Browser makes this super easy! Inspired by the font panel from NeXTSTEP OS, it's one of those handy tools you'll wish you had known about sooner!

A Quick Reminder!

If you've installed any individual Winstep products before this, make sure to uninstall them first before getting the full pack. Don’t worry; your old settings will stay intact unless you decide to delete the Winstep folder yourself.

Requirements & Limitations

Requirements:

• You need VB5 Runtimes for this program (this is usually just an issue with Windows 95/NT 4 systems). If not installed yet, grab the Visual Basic v5 runtime from Microsoft.

Limitations:

• The apps in Winstep Full Pak are shareware except for FontBrowser—you can test them out free for 30 days. If they’re useful to you (and we bet they will be!), please register them afterward. If not registered after 30 days, make sure to remove NextSTART and WorkShelf from your system.
