WireChanger

All common image formats supported: Gif/jpg/html/bmp/... Additional great feature - ability to show URL and HTML pages and automatically apply special effect to the image (B&W/Opacity/Calendar/...) on the fly.

No 'active desktop' required! Images can be grouped by theme, each with its own weight. The weight determines how often an image will appear in rotation. Themes can be synchronized with specific folder contents, so all new images will be added automatically at system startup.

WireChanger is a program that helps you group and change wallpapers.

Another feature - image templates. Template can overlay your wallpaper image with additional useful information (random citation from famous people for example, or weather forecast).

You can use "Calendar" template, which transforms your image into handy calendar for 2 weeks or current month with weather report and day-by-day notes.

WireChanger can be easily extended with new templates. WireChanger also supports live clocks from ColClocks collection (http://www.colclocks.com) to be displayed over your wallpaper. You will never see the same picture on your desktop! :)

WireChanger can be integrated with WireNote. WireNote integration can greatly improve your daily routine - in such case you will be able to see your WireNote reminders plugged in calendar over desktop picture. Every aspect can be tuned separately.
