One such tool to help out is Zoolou, which acts as a magnifying glass for your desktop, also letting you save custom zoomed pictures.

Once setup is complete, you’re free to launch the application and see what it can do for you. A compact box shows up with predefined details that zoom in at your cursor position. There’s also a crosshair for a bit more accuracy, and the box itself can be moved around to any location on your screen.

It’s also possible to resize the main window, depending on how much space you want to analyze from the cursor surroundings. What’s more, there’s also the option to enter full screen mode, which is especially handy when you’re using two or more monitors on the same PC.

Whenever the cursor is moved over the magnifying box, the function gets disabled, letting you handle different settings. The visual design can further be tweaked by selecting one of three transparency levels, one of which is fully opaque. Crosshair size can also be set to several preset values.

Some predefined screen location let you split the screen either vertically or horizontally, with one half being shared with the magnifying window. Moreover, zoom levels let you magnify from twice the original size, up to ten times. When the application window is active, triggering the copy function with Ctrl + C sends the captured image to clipboard, so you can process it or use in your projects.
